📖 The Filecoin Proof Parameters: What You Need to Know
If you are setting up a new Lotus miner, you know the pain of getting the proof parameters. Here is why we built this service.
1. The "Official" Sources are Unreliable
While the official Filecoin proof parameters are technically available, the official distribution channels are notoriously slow, prone to broken links, and frequently rate-limit heavy downloads.
To set up a node manually, you have to hunt down 41 individual files scattered across different web servers, IPFS gateways, and community mirrors. During our own setup, this process took us over two weeks of constant retries and failed downloads.
2. The Risk of Corrupted Sectors
If even one of those 41 files is slightly corrupted or missing, your Lotus miner will fail to seal sectors properly. This results in wasted time, wasted compute, and potentially slashed collateral. You need to be absolutely sure that every single file is perfectly intact.
3. What is in Our Archive?
We did the hard work so you don't have to. Our archive contains exactly what you need for a 32GiB sector size:
- 41 Individual Parameter Files: Every single file required by Lotus for v28.
- Checksum-Verified: We tested every file against the official checksums. If it's in our archive, it is 100% intact.
- Ready to Extract: Just unpack the archive directly into your Lotus proof parameter directory and start your miner.
- ~290 GB in total: Delivered as a single compressed `.tar.gz` file for the fastest possible download.
4. Why Pay for This?
You aren't paying for the files themselves—those are open-source and free. You are paying for the time and bandwidth we spent downloading, verifying, and re-hosting them on a dedicated 14TB server with a high-speed connection.
We provide a reliable, self-hosted, no-nonsense download so you can get your miner running in minutes instead of weeks.
